Global Monitoring Platform (GMP) for Maternal and Newborn Health

The Global Monitoring Platform (GMP) in Maternal and Newborn Health aims to establish and sustain a multi-country network of health facilities providing childbirth services to measure and improve the quality of intrapartum and early postnatal care.

Through the ARPAN CRE, the Burnet Institute, in collaboration with the WHO, are implementing the GMP across 75 health facilities in 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region: Bangladesh, Fiji, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
