Chanelle Warton is a bioethicist and mixed-methods researcher with expertise in reproductive ethics, clinical decision-making and public health policy. She is currently a Research Officer at the Burnet Institute, where she supports the development of the ARPAN Centre for Research Excellence to advance respectful and person-centred maternal and newborn healthcare across the Asia-Pacific region. Chanelle’s research explores how ethical principles, health policy and lived experience intersect to shape healthcare practice, particularly in areas i complex decision-making and equity of access. She is committed to community-engaged research that informs inclusive, evidence-based health policy and strengthens the ethical foundations of maternal and reproductive healthcare.
