As a midwife and public health researcher, Lisa has more than 25 years’ experience living and working in low-resource settings including Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania and Papua New Guinea. Her ongoing program of research is focused primarily in Papua New Guinea and supports improving quality of antenatal and intrapartum care to improve maternal and newborn birth outcomes through the design, implementation and evaluation of clinical and community-based interventions.
