Nicole Minckas

Dr. Nicole Minckas is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow specializing in maternal and neonatal health. Her work focuses on reducing healthcare disparities in low-resource settings, improving maternal and neonatal outcomes, and identifying effective interventions for high-risk populations. She has led large-scale clinical trials and implementation research in Africa and Asia for the WHO, focusing on interventions like antenatal corticosteroids and Kangaroo Mother Care. Nicole holds a Ph.D. from University College London, where she explored childbirth experiences in Argentina. She is currently working on the PEARLS trial and projects on respectful maternity care in Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa.
