Ms. Porjai Pattanittum, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor of Biostatistics at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, where she emphasizes teaching and mentorship in research methodologies. With experience as a statistician on the five-year collaborative Southeast Asian projects SEA-ORCHID and SEA-URCHIN, as well as serving as an associate editor for BMC Systematic Reviews, she has published 48 papers indexed in Scopus, including several Cochrane reviews. Porjai conducts workshops on systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and grading the certainty of evidence both in Thailand and internationally. She has joined the WHO evidence synthesis group for guideline development on sickle cell disease in pregnancy. Additionally, she has been a co-project coordinator for the HRP Alliance Regional Hub for approximately 2.5 years and actively supervises master’s and Ph.D. students in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
