Yeshita Pujar

Professor Yeshita V Pujar is a distinguished expert in obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on maternal health and clinical research. She is currently affiliated with KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research in Belagavi, India.

As a Principal Investigator in the CHAMPION clinical trial, she is the first doctor to administer heat-stable carbetocin in clinical practice in India, marking a significant milestone in preventing postpartum hemorrhage.

Prof. Pujar's work has been instrumental in advancing maternal health care in India and contributing to global efforts to reduce maternal mortality. Her involvement in ground breaking research and implementation of new interventions demonstrates her commitment to improving outcomes for mothers and newborns, particularly in resource-limited settings.
